Introducing our Inspirational HR Leader Tricia Wright!


On 26.09.18 Tricia Wright, Chief People Officer for Transport for London spoke at our myHRparty for the 2nd time in myHRcareer’s history, where she discussed how the role of HR has changed and evolved throughout her career. Check out what went down on the night HERE….but just WHO is Tricia Wright?

Tricia Wright was appointed to her current position in June 2011, after serving 3 years as HR Director for London Underground.  A transport industry professional for over 20 years, she reports directly to the Commissioner for Transport for London, Mike Brown.


Tricia is responsible for the successful delivery of the award winning People Strategy across the TfL businesses, including its organisational effectiveness and design, people development, employee engagement, reward and recognition, strategic resourcing, employee relations as well as the HR shared service centre and HR business partner delivery model.


Prior to her current position, Tricia worked as HR Director for Northern Rail, where she also spent a period out of HR as Area Operations Director.

After her degree, Tricia joined British Rail as a Graduate Trainee and has subsequently worked for Eastern Infrastructure Maintenance, Burger King and Eurostar.


Tricia is a Chartered HR professional, has an MA in Human Resource Management and has worked in both public and private sectors.

In 2014, Tricia was awarded HR Director of the Year at the HR Distinction Awards.
